The Van Dooren brothers

You have probably noticed from the pictures that we posted that the Van Dooren brothers are really beautiful together!

Justin is very patient and he has always a lot of ideas for playing with Yang Yang who in turns adores his "gege" (older brother in Chinese). Justin explained to Yang Yang how to play with the tablet, they watch TV together, they play at the swimming pool and Justin takes Yang Yang on his shoulders when he does not want to walk anymore....

Yang Yang is a little bit afraid of entering the swimming pool but yesterday "gege" managed to take him in his arms into the water.

You may wonder how they communicate with each other..... simple: in Italian, Chinese and Dutch and Justin had a great idea: he switches on his tablet, goes to Google translator, writes the sentence he wants to pronounce, turns on the volume for Yang Yang to listen..... fantastic! Mum and dad still use the little pocket dictionary, really old fashion!

Justin is here a superstar. It is indeed not so common to see black people and he is constantly stopped by people of any gender and age asking him to make a selfie or take a picture. Again he is very patient and he smiles while posing....

Beijing offers a lot of attractions for tourists so we will try to enjoy our stay as much as we can. We started yesterday with Tiananmen place - the largest square in the world and we wonder if not also the most crowded! -. Today we went to the Temple of the Heaven and for dinner we tasted the famous duck.

We are now ready to watch TV (it's time for the favourite Yang Yang's cartoon) before going to bed.... ready tomorrow for new discoveries and adventures.
